Zeta Violins: Billy received an endorsement on a Zeta Jazz midi violin system after performing on the same bill as Jean-Luc Ponty with Barbara Thompson's Paraphernalia in Budapest, Hungary.
Carlo Giordano Violins: Billy received an endorsement on a Carlo Giordano 'Silenzia' violin whilst doing some improvisation teaching at Guildford College
Reed Instrument Microphones: Billy uses the Fiddle Pro microphone for all sorts of things both live and in studio settings.
The Swipe: Billy is endorsed by The Swipe. An excellent way to prolong the life of strings on all string instruments.
AKG: Through performing in Vienna with Barbara Thompson's Paraphernalia and his connection with drummer/Studio guru Jon Hiseman, Billy got the WMS400 radio mic from AKG.

Radio Cymru

92.4-96.8, 103.5-104.9 MHz BBC Radio Cymru is BBC Wales' Welsh language radio station, broadcasting throughout Wales on FM since 1979. It is also carried on DAB Digital Radio within Wales, and on satellite. The station has also been broadcasting on the Internet since January 2005.

The evening output (from 8pm) of Radio Cymru is branded "C2" and is aimed at a younger audience than the rest of the station. It covers the contemporary Welsh music scene extensively. It has studios in both Bangor and Cardiff and typically opens at 8pm with the show from Cardiff with Dafydd Du. Huw Stephens hosts a show here and also Lisa Gwilym for whom Amledd are doing an acoustic session at 11pm, October 2nd, 2006,

Bowed Radio: This is where it's at for today's improvising violinists. Superb podcasts full of alternative string compositions of all sorts of styles.

Boys From The Hill: BOYS from the HILL are a South Wales based acoustic trio, they are: Andy Jones (Guitar, Vocals), Chris Pitson (Bouzouki, Guitar) & Martin Leamon (Melodeon, Bouzouki and Accordion). Their music is a mixture of self penned and traditional material with a strong social commentary. Flippin' brilliant.

Czechomor: Billy supported this Czech band with Red Rag Band. Deeply rooted in village music of native Czechia, they bring ancient folk songs to wide audiences both at home and abroad. The music draws its strength from both Eastern and Western sources: Breton "fest-noz" meets passionate dances from the wild East.

William Leng: Billy used to go busking with Will all around the Wirral performing music by - amongst others - Bob Dylan, The Waterboys, The Wonderstuff, The Manic Street Preachers and William's originals. This helped develop Billy's improvising no end.
Shonu: Superb Finn brothers style Singer/Songwriter with Indian influences from that London. Recently including Billy.

Now in new premises... Billy has converted the attic into Thompsound Music's new home in Bala, North Wales. There is a purpose built vocal booth and enough room for a small band.
Temple Music: One of the largest studios still operational in the Greater London area, Jon Hiseman's fantastic studio is based in Sutton, Surrey, UK. The seamless nature of Pro Tools meant that Billy was able to take his hard drive to Jon's place to record the drums to Amledd's album on his Pro Tools HD system and then bring it home to North Wales to mix in Pro Tools LE.
Miles Ashton: Miles is the best live sound guy in the business. Barbara Thompson's Paraphernalia's sound guy for many years and Ronnie Scott's Club's main man for many years too. Reassuringly expensive.

The Synergy Project: Huge project holding big events at the SE1 Club - London Bridge. The Next Step in Conscious Partying!... A truly amazing event. Nov 15th featured Billy T in the Trance Room, there was another room with live bands playing of many different styles (for eg at around 3am there was banging techno in one room and 1930s swing Jazz right next to it!). Jazz 4 Jed The Jazz for Jed Award is an annual award made specifically to assist in the promotion and development of jazz music in Wales. Set up in memory of the wonderful Jed Williams who programmed Becon Jazz Festival for many years along with many other inspirational contributions to Jazz in the UK (including the magasine - JazzUK).
