Last Fandango CD Cover

Barbara Thompson's Paraphernalia - The Last Fandango is finally available. This is almost certainly Paraphernalia's last ever studio album and is now available from Temple Music. This was an incredible feat with Barbara's contributions played whenever she was physically able whilst fighting her Parkinson's ordeal. Her playing is fantastic. The compositions are fantastic also [Billy's opinion and doubtless others too] and the rest of Paraphernalia play pretty darn well also [even if BIlly says so himself!].

Billy Thompson's main project at Thompsound Music besides Billy Thompson Gypsy Style is the Welsh band AMLEDD (dd is pronounced like the th in The. Amledd means 'Frequency' in English). Original material co-written by Billy and Rhian Thompson (formerly Rhian Williams), the first album Cyfnod Cyntaf is out now throughout Wales. It is also available from the Thompsound Music Shop, iTunes and at all gigs. For sound samples and for more information go to

Thompsound Music is Billy Thompson's music production company.

Since receiving Prince's Trust funding in 1999, Thompsound Music has been producing music for various artists and the media using Billy's portable home studio.

Amongst other projects, Thompsound Music produced 'Ysbryd Solva' for Meic Stevens and Amledd's debut album Cyfnod Cyntaf. See Sounds.

More recently Thompsound Music has recorded on location and then edited/mixed and mastered back at the studio. See Tango 5 and Billy Thompson Gypsy Style on the shop page...

There is, of course, an on-site violinist available.
